Subject: End game Heresy Novels, Post Heresy... chronology.

I've read or listened to everything I can get my hands(or ears) on as far as the Heresy. Up to Vengeful Spirit and Gates of Terra. I did my best to read the HH in chronological order. So now it seems there are no actual novels detailing the "end game", the final battle, or battles, of the Heresy.
Until those novels arise, I'd like to pick up where the Heresy leaves off, starting with 40K novels. That is to say, any novels, or series of novels, that pick up as close as possible near the time when the Heresy ends. Doing a bit of research and trying my best to avoid spoilers I have a few leads, but really need someone to fill in the blanks and recommend a starting point, avoiding spoilers please. Loyalist or Chaos, it doesn't matter. I'm just trying to continue my reading in chronological order, so I'd be looking for any novels that are set in the immediate aftermath of the Heresy, or there about.
1. Ahriman series(picking up where A Thousand Sons/Prospero Burns leaves off).
2. Talon of Horus. I've actually starting reading this novel. There are various references to Ahriman and his actions after the destruction of Prospero. An actual novel detailing Arhiman's actions post Prospero would be divine!
With no other leads to go on, and doing my best to avoid spoilers via the Wiki or any other 40K resource sites, I'm stuck as far as which 40K novels to start with. What happens to the Traitor legions? What happens to the Loyalists Legions? What Primarchs are left standing? What about the Legions that chased the traitors into the Eye? Are there any post Heresy novels that covers these events? No spoilers please.

Thousand Sons: as noted, Ahriman: Exile is your place to start. It's actually not set all that close to the heresy, but it's a VERY good series. It is, however, a trilogy of epic tzeenchian mind-fethery. I advise you to take notes whilst reading....
Sons of Horus: Yeah, Talon Of Horus is your place to start.
World Eaters: Kharn, Eater Of Worlds. It's the lead-up to Skalathrax and shows what happens after the world eater's retreat from terra.
The "what happened to the loyalists" - the Beast Arises series is the 'next war' - coming out pretty soon. The broad plot is "hahaha! we won! the traitors are defeated! the imperium is safe! we are.....oh, yeah. The orks we never finished off. Forgot about you. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!"

Stern Iron Priest with Thrall Bodyguard
|
Battle of the Fang...
the invasion takes place in M32, and involves the Demon Primarch Magnus himself...
if you like the Sons, or the Wolves, this is a good read...
Chris Wraight has written some good BL books...
i recommend all his stuff, but this one especially fits the time period after the Heresy...

Angry Blood Angel Assault marine

This one is little known, but spare marine battles pandorax has two great tie-ins from events on the HH era. Granted it does takes place in M41 but you will appreciate the story developments if you read the HH novels prior.

Thanks for the suggestion guys. I've read The hunt for Magnus, Battle of the Fang, Talon of Horus.
Does anyone else have suggestions for novels or novellas that pick up just after the HH or there abouts? That or very early on in the m41 timeline.
As Locarno suggested I have picked up Kharn, Eater of Worlds. I've found nothing related to Skalathrax as you mentioned. Is there a particular novel I should be looking for?
