Starting 30k using Betrayal at Calth, What do I need?

So, Me and a friend are considering starting 30k due to Betrayal at Calth making it a bit cheeper so we are considering getting a box each but, What else do we need to run 30k? The Horus Heresy books from Forge World off course.. But anything else needed?

Edit: We have been playing 40k for some time so we do have the basics for 40k.

All you need to play 30k Marines:

-40k Rulebook.
-Crusade Army List (in either HH1 or the Red Crusade Army List book)
-If you want to play with Legion Rules, the HH book that contains the rules for your legion, or the red Istavan Campaign Legion book, if your legion is covered by it.

Cool, just keep in mind that the red Istavan Campaign Legion book does not contain rules for every Legion. Ultramarines now have rules, but they're not in the red book. And several Legions like Space Wolves, Blood Angels, and Thousand Sons have not yet gotten full rules for HH at the moment.

I would have said, get the books before betrayal in case you find you want to run a different kind of army. For example, if you wanted to run a Decent of Angels or Night Lords Terror Assault army you would find BaC fairly unhelpful. There is no set way to play 30k or end all be all army list. Yeah 20 man tac squads are nice, but not all RoWs use them. Neither of my current armies would have had any use for 95% of the models aside from the termies.
