Hello once again, people of Dakka...

I'm creating this thread to log my completed LOTR miniatures - I have a significant tendency to never complete anything. Recently however I've experienced an unprecidented level of productivity, and I'm hoping to continue that and paste it here for all to see! What you see here may not be particularly fantastic or groundbreaking, but it's finished, and that's something new and slightly scary to me

Anyway....

My Mordor Warband

Spoiler:

And my Warriors of Minas Tirith

Spoiler:

I'm very happy with them all in general, though the Warriors of Minas Tirith could be better - I just wanted them done as efficiently as possible. I'm particularly pleased with the bases - whilst nothing fancy, I think they look pretty great with minimal effort:

It's just Stirland mud, washed with Agrax Earthshade, drybrushed with Gorthor Brown and Ushabti Bone, and topped off with some dirt cheap grass tufts from ebay!

Soon to come are some more trolls (and orcs, oh so many orcs..) and some ranger reinforcements for Minas Tirith!

They look good! I'm quite sad this range is starting to fade away. Quite a lot of good memories here.

Skaven Cheese-stealer Renegade Cult: 2,000 points, 0-0
Warboss Spine Squisha's Ork Warband: 3,000 Points, 1W-3L

Thanks! Me too, there's some beautiful models in this line. Hopefully the rumours of this new design studio prove to be good for LOTR

I thanks man! This is my second dig at LOTR, the first being when I was nine the aim was for them to be good [i]enough[i*], as it takes me an unreasonable amount of time to do any better!

Awesome! I love the troll diorama

Glory is fleeting, but obscurity lasts forever.

Considering also your duty as a warrior you should not waver. Because there is nothing more auspicious for a warrior than a righteous war.

Thanks all for the kind words!

I feel obliged to point out that the diorama above, in all its awesomeness, is Guyzor's and not mine! Just in case there was any doubt incredible work by the way!
