Hey guys, shot in the dark, any players at the or around the barracks in Nottingham?

Any particular aversion to the rest of Notts? The town centre store is very friendly, not to mention HQ itself.

I haven't experienced the sheer joy of Chilwell for years, thankfully.

Warhammer world is quite irritating to get to IIRC, although I may have gotten lost en route.

That's the issue, I work up Chetwynd and wanted to find some fellow gamers, my mobility is quite limited on camp and around camp as I don't drive, plus I don't know the area that well, but I'd be more than happy to meet some new people anywhere around Notts.

There is now a tram that stops about fifty feet from WHW, and there's a well signed stop for the line at the back of the train station. It's an utter bugger to get to by car, but that line just opened.

You can walk it in 25 minutes from the town centre if you know the route, but I don't recommend it unless you look scarier than the people who live in the area you have to walk through.

That said, if you throw some dates up, I have a mate who'd travel for a game with you, or I can give you his email address.

Good to see so many Notts gamers, I guess with the HQ being here I shouldn't be so surprised. Transport sounds like it might be a pain for you but if you're able, I'm able to get to WHW fairly easily, usually on from Friday's to Sunday's.

what games do you play?

the tram is a good walk from the barracks & all up hill.

if you walk down to the retail park there loads of bus which will take close to WHW or Notts centre

war & peace on a wed night will cost about £5 each way in a taxi (best to google)

I usually play 40K in WW. If someone fancy a game just send me a private
