Looks good. Maybe cut 1 screamer to get the Herald the Locus of conjuration.

Hmm well I was mostly thinking he would roll to summon and maybe 1 die on divination for prescience.

That's fine. He still has flickering fire, which at S6 can be pretty nasty.

I would get the pinks to 11. Then perhaps flyer ace for your warlord. Or get a few extra pinks.

Well it's itc so objectives are pretty important. You think it's better to cut a shrouded scoring unit for a bonus warp charge? I don't know. I can see your point.

horrors can still go to ground in ruins for a 3+ re rolling 1s. and then they also give you a warp charge and can summon for you if you need them to.

So make them a 14 man unit and drop to 1 nurgling?

Ok so I played 2 games so far with this list. Using itc missions 1 and 2. Both wins. I have been pretty fortunate with few perils.

Are there any improvements you can see for the list?

I think I like the 15 pinks and 3 nurglings over 10 points and 2 3 man nurglings. What do you think?

Also do you think the heldrake is good enough? It did nothing vs the tau dar cause I was afraid of the interceptor broadsides killing it. Vs the marines it was pretty solid I guess but it didn't come in till turn 4...

I am pretty low on anti air as is. You think that is better? I do like the bike killing it gives me.

Personally, if the heldrake comes in t2, I would say it's probably better for things like killing 3+ save units in cover, particularly things like dark reapers or long fangs that can damage your fliers. Also a good fire magnet and doesn't need psychic buffing.

However the herald on disk will increase your warp charge and psychic utility, which could in turn help you buff your units more and more reliably, possibly reducing the need for a heldrake.

Whenever I look at my daemons dex and try to write a competitive list I always have indecision like this. It's difficult to know what's better.

I do like that it is a demon too so can be boosted by cursed earth or the grim.

also consider that only having used the list in two games, you're still looking at fairly anecdotal evidence. like you said, one game the drake was delayed, so of course it didn't do too much. but that isn't the norm, right?
