Just a little thing, and I only just noticed this, but Forge World have released a Warscroll for another of their models, the Dread Saurian;

Norn Iron

It's the perfect model for AoS.

I'm sooo, sooo sorry.

I gotta buck the trend and say I'm not really a fan of most Forge World models. This one in particular looks exactly like a child's toy, even when it's painted.

Indeed, and I think it's mostly the way they did its flesh. And, in all honesty, that particular paint job doesn't really help I find this colouring to be a tad better.

I prefer this guy for the part.

Archaon's only real weakness is he only has a -1 rend. I've a feeling this guy,Nagash and others will be no push overs when up against Archaon. Infact I think Nagash would eat him for breakie all day long.

back on topic tho,great rules for an awesome model,they just need to paint one in the new colours.

hope this means my Skaven Warlord on Brood Horror is getting a warscroll soon

Hmmm...

Take son's t rex toy and add wife's costume jewelry to it... Check.

Mount on round base... Check.

Field in army. Win.

Did they ever release a warscroll for Skin Wolves? I have six, three unopened, and want to know if I should sell them or keep them

Keep them. A Warscroll will be around soon enough...

Which is why it's the perfect model for AoS. Cluttered with details, including some that are ded kewl and wikkid in isolation, but with little actual thought to the underlying direction and structure.

That model, although not as good as the artwork, has always been one of my favorites, along with its smaller cousin (the Carnosaur). Easily up there with Mierce's stuff, which is pretty rare! That said, all of FW's fantasy monsters are amazing (the Merwyrm, Basilisk and Toad Dragon in particular). And those rules... yeah he's going to rip some stuff apart for sure. 2D6+D6 attacks until he's taken 8+ wounds? Yikes.

I just noticed something that I have to imagine is an error... It's not a monster. The Dread Saurian, a beast so large it considers monsters a food source, is not counted as a monster by the rules.
