Hi Dakka, I am entering a doubles tournament and here is what I was thinking of bringing (I am probably bringing my partners list as well. Rules are 1 detachment, no special characters, LOW, etc.

500 Necron Destroyer Cult formation.

Destroyer Lord, Gauntlet of Conflagration, Voidblade

3x Destroyers
3x Destroyers
3x Destroyers

I was thinking this because the destroyers can face anything in the game. I am considering dropping the gauntlet and getting 1 heavy per squad, but a deepstriking T6 platform with a ap2 flamer that rerolls 1's is a tough pass.

Eldar 500 point (Two options)

Options 1:
Aspect Host:
7x Warp spiders and an exarch
7x Warp spiders and an exarch w twin linked
9x Swooping hawks and an exarch

I was going to have 3 squads of spiders, but models are limiting in that regard. Plus, I figure the AA, haywire grenades, ignore cover blast, and 30 bs5 lasgun shots wouldnt be bad in the format. All bs5, reroll to morale, and of course the spiders are nigh unkillable in the format.

Option 2: The "I have no friends WAAC option :^)"
Fareer skyrunner w spear
5x Scatterbikes
3x SCatterbikes
3x SCatterbikes
3x SCatterbikes

Pretty obvious, lots of OS, guide/prescience for scatbikes, maybe eldritch storm/shriek. He will probably end up bringing this.



So, what kind of weaknesses do you think we will have? I know one team will probably bring 4 flyrants and that won't be fun to face.
