Subject: 30k Death Guard Rites of War: Pride of the Legion vs The Reaping

Just curious as to which one of these people feel is stronger.
Pride of the Legion
Effects
- Veteran and Terminator squads are Troop choices in the force, and units of either of these types must be selected as the force's compulsory Troops selections. This also includes any Legion specific Terminator squads which are also Elites choices.
- Command squads may take a Land Raider of either the Proteus or Phobos type as a Dedicated Transport.
Limitations
- Should all Veterans and Terminator squads in the force be destroyed in the battle, then the enemy counts as having scored an additional secondary objective.
- You may not take an allied force detachment.
The Reaping
Effects
Superior Firepower: Death Guard Legion Veteran Tactical squads and Legion Heavy Support squads may be taken as non-Compulsory Troops choices using this Rite of War.
Implacable: All units in a detachment using this Rite of War gain the Move Through Cover special rule.
Dark Arsenal: Any character or independent model chosen as part of a primary detachment using this Rite of War with the Legiones Astartes (Death Guard) special rule may be given rad grenades for +10 points each.
Limitations
Models and units taken as part of a detachment using this Rite of War may not make Run or Flat Out moves.
Detachments using this Rite of War may not deploy models using the Deep Strike rule (and units which must deploy by this method therefore cannot be chosen as part of the detachment).
Detachments using this Rite of War may only take a single Fast Attack choice on their Force Organisation chart.
Thoughts
Pride of the Legion allows for a lot of the same stuff that the Reaping does in terms of Terminator spam (usually with Death Guard it's a bunch of Grave Wardens chemflaming everything up) but doesn't have the Move Through Cover special rule. It also allows for Deathshroud Terminators to be taken as Troops but I don't feel that's that great of an idea. Pride of the Legion will also move across the map a lot faster.
The Reaping, however, allows for Rad Grenade spam and the rulebook seems to suggest that the rad grenade's effect of -1 toughness stacks. So if a bunch of units assaulted one target then that target would find it's toughness heavily reduced and probably instantly killed.
I'd say Pride of the Legion probably comes out stronger as you can just jam Mortarion and a bunch of Death Guard into a dedicated Proteus and have them tear stuff up whilst footslogging a bunch of Grave Wardens up there.
What do you guys think?

The Reaping is more distinctly death guard.
Playing on rules loopholes aside, massed tactical and heavy weapon infantry should give you far more firepower - and all scoring - than other legions.
Mortarion, Deathshroud and a transport are still a possibility - since you can just take them as elites and heavy support respectively.
The problem with footslogging grave wardens is that they don't have an especially long range.

I would just do the Reaping merely because it is fluffy.
I've used it before and it's quite good. Rad spam makes assault a pain in the butt, and it's cheap to start before veteran squads can be made cheaper.

I'm 99%certain FW addressed that rad Grenades won't stack.
But play fluffy. 30k is narrative and fun based. Enjoy it, and play the reaping.

I just don't really like baseline tactical. Prefer Veterans so I don't have to paint as many guys. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I guess I could load them into rhinos or something.

It's not in the errata, as far as I can tell.
That's a point, though.
