This os neither a YMDC question, nor was it titled correctly for one.

Please see the tenets sticky and I will ask a mod to move the thread.

On topic: another option is to drop some HQs from your list or play unbound.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

When building an army, you can use more than one Detachment, as long as you fill the minimum requirements.

For example, the most well-known detachment is the Combined Arms Detachment (shown on page 122 of the main rulebook) which is 1-2 HQ's, 2-6 Troops etc.

If you want to field 4 HQ's in the same army, you can simply take two Combined Arms, provided you take enough Troops to satisfy the minimums (in this case, 4).

Another option is the Ork Horde Detachment (Ork Codex, page 102), which allows up to three HQ's (meaning you only have to leave one on the shelf if you don't have enough Troops for two detachments).

Another another mention, is that a Mek will not take up any slots, but a Big Mek will (see the Mekaniaks rule on page 56 of the Ork Codex).

also remember your not going to bring every model you own to every game.

I have five models to represent various inquisitors, yet i've usually only take one to any given game depending on what i feel. Some days you can bring your warboss and a mek, another day bring two pain boys.
