Hello guys need some help and info.

Are the word bearers possessed mariens in 30k also what armour did they use? I am thinking of buying the mk3 shoulders.

So far I am buying
Logar
Erbus and the daddy forget his name
Vol buktor or what ever
The ashen host
Vol buktor dreadnought

Now with the shoulder pads do I need to buy mk3 armour and then the pads? Also what else am I missing. For a word bearer army.

I need to go to work every day.

The Gal Vorbak are Word Bearers Possessed designed for the 30k ruleset.

Beyond that though, for the rest of the questions, you'll have to wait for someone who knows more about FW than me.

The Word Bearers used MK2, MK3 and MK4. I do not think they were much for MK6.

They did have possessed Marines, Gal Vorbak, but not all of them were.

Also 'Vol buktor', what?

Gal vorbak , vol buktor all the same lol. I read the novel the day of release and haven't bothered with it since. I just remember loving son was spit on by daddy, adopted dad told him he can find love other places. They convert everyone to their cause, ship goes in warp half them eat each other and turn into possessed. And horus rips of erbus face cause he said you suck. Lol plus I love the religion boys and the faithful.

Hell horus had to purge his own army not my lorgar he said boys the emperor made us his bitches lets get him. They agreed and the emperor is dead now lol.

Oh I also remember Angeron kicking russes arse... Think it was the same book.

He's on life support. Should Warhammer continue past M41, the Eldar will die and the Empruh becomes Star Child.

But onto them dirty Word Bearers. I really wouldn't take a Gal Vorbak Dreadnaught if you are running regular Gal Vorbak. I'm sure the dread's ability is hazardous to Daemons if I read it right.

H.B.M.C.- The end hath come! From now on armies will only consist of Astorath, Land Speeder Storms and Soul Grinders!
War Kitten- Vanden, you just taunted the Dank Lord Ezra. Prepare for seven years of fighting reality...
koooaei- Emperor: I envy your nipplehorns. <Magnus goes red. Permanently>
Neronoxx- If our Dreadnought doesn't have sick scuplted abs, we riot.
Frazzled- I don't generally call anyone by a term other than "sir" "maam" "youn g lady" "young man" or " HEY bag!"
Ruin- It's official, we've ran out of things to talk about on Dakka. Close the site. We're done.
mrhappyface- "They're more what you'd call guidlines than actual rules" - Captain Roboute Barbosa
Steve steveson- To be clear, I'd sell you all out for a bottle of scotch and a mid priced hooker.

It's only a concern if you keep them close together. Put them on separate flanks.

If you like Ashen Circle, Word Bearers have a new HQ in HH5 that lets you take Ashen Circle as a troops choice. Might be worth looking into. I don't spend much on FW stuff personally, but his FW model is pretty cool, and comes with a couple Blade Slave models:
