Cool. I was disappointed last week when I got the email about discounted codexes, but it was only on the apple store. I've been meaning to get the skitaari and cult books for ages. £7 for legion of the damned doesn't feel too awful either.

Why does GW give me this in pounds when I live in Canada? You would think they would give us the Canadian prices for these.

Considering half those titles are over a year old, they're likely to be replaced in the next year given gw's one to two year book lifecycle.

Black Library at least let's you change the currency at the top of the page. The FW site should do the same.

GW offering not one but two sales? Within a month of eachother? During a Holiday season?!

Either that new CEO is actually taking steps to turn the company image around, or else they're in dire financial straits.

I bought the Skitarii codex for a tenner. Hopefully it's a good read fluff wise, and will be worth it even if a joint Adeptus Mechanicus codex gets released in a years time.

Chaos Space Marines had the first digital codex ever (codices actually, including the first Extended Edition which some later army books didnt get). The Black Legion supplement was only available in digital format and later (Nov 2013) released as a book. In the same month they brought The Chaos Collection combining CSM, CD and the BL books and also Warzone: Pandorax. I want a new Codex as much as everyone does but we have to admit that Chaos had lots of releases in 2012 and 2013. The current state of CSM is utter gak - hopefully 2016 will bring a huge wave of Traitor Marine releases - today's situation seems to be similiar to the Dark Eldar one before 2010 though.
