Greetings, fellow slaves to Games Workshop! (I kid, I kid!)

My name is Cody, and I'm a student at Milwaukee Area Technical College, studying business development and game design. In one of my courses this semester, we were tasked to learn to play WH40K (I have limited tabletop minis games via WarMachine many years ago), then develop a new race (whether a mod or brand new).

We settled onto Lizardmen, after an inspiring pitch from our now-product owner. He recommended some interesting fluff-based options to pursue, with some embellishing where appropriate (because we aren't GW, after all...)

All of this was decided prior to the release of the Serophon line (I even emailed GW trying to find some sales figures, where I was promptly [and obviously] shut down) so much of our team became distraught once seeing this development. Later, upon realizing GW only shifted the Lizardmen from Fantasy to AoS, we set about with our work again, but I need to confirm that we're actually doing something interesting.

I figured coming to the source (the people that actually buy and/or play with Lizardmen) would be the most direct and expedient way to get the feedback necessary, so I'll be posting at least one surveys/questionnaire, (found here) to try to better understand this crazy universe, and those that play in it.

Thanks for reading, and I hope to hear back from you soon!

Hi. Welcome to Dakka

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

Thanks, I realize Dakka isn't exclusively geared towards the Lizards, but it is geared towards 40K, which our group is trying to determine what sorts of reactions would occur if they were shifted there instead of into AoS.

Hence, here I am, posting on forums instead of doing something else.

I kid again, haha! I love getting feedback about work, and especially being able to assist my classmates in getting a really cool product. I'd like to share our concepts later on, but our final is next week, and we do have an NDA...

Hi,
