When you shoot blast weaponds you roll 2D6 to se how far it goes.

Let say i roll 9 and i got BS 4, how far does the blast scatter?

can i choose to not substract my bs so it will go 9 inch?
Can i choose to just substract 2 so it will go 7 inch?

You subtract the full BS

There is no choice in the matter. Always full BS.

Unless indirect barrage, or other special rules change the scatter-bs-reduction(which are generally no reduction).
