Thanks, but weak anti-tank? I have 2 Dreadnoughts with graviton guns in this list, not to mention the Multi-Meltas on the Justaerin and Storm Eagle (which, to be fair, aren't too effective against armoured ceramite).

You've gotta think at this points level you will probably be going up against a big LOW and maybe even lots of tanks

True, but even super-heavies such as Fellblades are vulnerable to Haywire and are a lot less scary when locked in combat with a Dreadnought. An armoured spearhead list admittedly might be a problem, though, even with 2 Contemptors. I could maybe focus both on one target, which is enough to glance a Land Raider to death on the turn they arrive, but that would mean I'm destroying vehicles at a much slower pace. I still do, however, have Orbital bombardments from the Damocles, MoS & Horus.

Um.... Not sure if a Master Of Signal can be a compulsory HQ. I may be making that up, but I thought I remember that.

Should work fine - chainfists and meltabombs are pretty decent antitank, and graviton guns are indeed the best antitank going in Age of Darkness games.

Which power weapons do you plan on using? My brain says axe on the sergeant - far to many opponents will be in artificer plate for the sword to be a good choice - and maybe swords, maybe mauls, for the reavers.


One warning - you're going to be mighty light on board presence on turn 1 - and in the Age of Darkness missions (Shatter Strike, Domination, etc, etc) you lose if you are tabled at any point, not just at the end of a game turn

The Black Reaving ROW forces you to take a MoS as a compulsory HQ

Who's the master of signal riding with? He doesn't really need to be in a damocles and could fare better hanging in a dreadclaw with the reavers or the tactical squad if you drop one man from any of the squads?

While the +1BS may be useful, if he uses his orbital bombardment (which is Ordnance), neither unit can assault.
