I've got a new battle report up on my blog. It was a game of Black Powder set in the American Civil War. The scenario was from an issue of Wargames Soldiers and Strategy, and involved an attacker with superior numbers trying to get across a bridge before the defenders are able to detonate it. Have a look on my blog for pictures and details.

Thanks for sharing. What scale were the figs?

I have dreamed of making a Blackpowder ACW scenario using 10mm figs.

They are 10mm figures, most of them from a company called GHQ:

You can see a lot more close up pictures in some of my other posts. Here's a link to all the stuff with the ACW tag:

Cool report. Are those cards part of the core mechanic of BP? My book is still waiting to be picked up. Have the 170 mini boxed set from Perry.

The officer personality traits are optional rules you can use if you want. I got cards made up, but normally if you used those rules you'd just roll for each of the three traits, resulting in low, normal, or high. So for example, one of the traits is aggressiveness. So on a 1 you are low (timid), 2-5 nothing, and 6 high (aggressive). And there are some extra rules for being timid or aggressive.

That was cool to read. Never seen a civil war battle report before.
