Pining for my childhood, I recently picked up a Dreamcast. Outside of Jet Grind Radio, Code Veronica, and some smaller games I grabbed (Zombie Revenge and WWF Royal Rumble), any others you guys think I should play? I'll probably get Sonic Adventure at some point. I played the hell out of that.

You into RPGS? Skies of Arcadia is pretty dope. Soul Calibur is cool if you like fighting games. Street Fighter 3 Third Strike was cool too.

Only ever played Skies of Arcadia for a little bit, but hell yes it was dope. It's just a tad expensive. Soul Caliber is absolutely on my list though.

Now I got the eBay itch again... gonna maybe hunt for a Dreamcast this weekend... thanks a lot buddy!

It is. I've never played it, maybe worth a try? Do you know how the gameplay is?

I loved my dreamcast. Back in the day me and the fellas used to play Fur Fighters deathmatches for hours and hours, all crowded around my 19" TV. Those were the days.

Oh dude Shenmue was a dope game! I put so much time in that game. I'm not sure how to describe it really... maybe rpg-ish?... I want to say its open world or something but its a small open world... and there sort of is a time constraint if I remember. Like if you reach a certain day the game automatically moves along or something... I forget... it has been a while since I've played.

There is some brawler elements to it... but not enough to call it a brawler... there's neat little side things like collecting certain items or performing side quests for npcs... oh man and forklift races... can't forget forklift races!

Did I go back in time to 2001 or is saying "dope" somehow cool again? I would add Unreal Tournament and Soul Calibur to the list, both are great fun

I actually have been looking at that. Is it worth a damn? It seems like it could be awesome or just terrible.

I only played a little of it (about after a month of having a dreamcast, my mother went through a period of "No mess in the living room" and a game console, controllers with cables counted as 'mess' so the whole thing was disconnected and never played again...

It did seem good and has had held up in various reviews over the years.
