After reviewing a couple of cool daemons lists on this forum, my creative juices started flowing with the consistency of Nurgle's rancid river. I am really digging the following list, but am looking for some advice from daemon players in regards to the composition.

Daemon Prince --ML3, 1 Greater, 1 Exalted, Wings (no armor)
Soulgrinder --Nurgle, Baleful Torrent
[LOW]
Chaos Knight Paladin --Nurgle, Dirgecaster

The daemonettes will provide a screen of sorts for the knight to help to offset any alpha strikes. Then, they will sprint up the board and use the icon to bring in the Plaguebearers>GUO or Soul Grinder. Thanks to Chaos Focus, I also have a couple of AP3 torrents at my disposal (and the AP4 template of the Soulgrinder).

Questions, if you please:
-I added the alluress to slightly offset the chance of losing an HQ/DP to the warp storm. Is this recommended, or should I invest those whopping 14 points elsewhere?
-The exalted will go to either a magic weapon or the Grimoire. However, I never have much luck in running the 'Grimoire' without a reroll. As such, should it just be dropped for a Greater Reward?
-I have very limited AA with the soulgrinder's Harvester Cannon. I generally just ignore fliers, but are there any suggestions to compensate for this, outside of allying in a drake?

Note that I want to adhere to the Nurgle theme as much as possible (the Daemonettes are sporting Nurgle paintjobs, btw).

Belakor can vector. Other than that there is little to deal with AA.Is your grinder deepstriking (normally?) cause that is how I use the flamer. But in all reality you could just take allied csm, belakor for hq, 10 cultists and add a drake of the grinder cause his flamer is better and he can vector enemy flyers.

If you take the phlegm I could keep the grinder.

I do plan on deepstriking the Grinder, unless I have a compelling reason to start him on the board. I don't really want to ally in CSM, although I can't argue with the strength of the drake. TBH, I rarely fear flyers in my meta, but damned if that drake doesn't come in handy vs all of the bikes.

Thanks for the phlegm advice; I will try some games out with it and see what I like.

Let me ask: would a Plague Hulk be a better fit over the standard 'Grinder?

I think its an option if you have the model. I also like the blight drone. Give some AA (bad really at it) but gives a sweet battlecannon shot plus shrouded.

Plague hulk is a much nicer nurgle model IMHO i use both so its also nice that they llok different

Grimoire/Invis notwithstanding, I am digging the Nurgle knight for the saves (cover or daemon).

I might switch out my Paladin for an Errant, although having a second blast seems like the better option in this build.

I agree that the Plague Hulk is a better looking model. Unfortunately, I don't have it, so will keep this as an ole-fashioned 'grinder.

First of all I am suprised you didn't give your prince nurgle for that 2+ cover save.
On the subject of cover saves your knight does not have one.
Finally I would keep the paladin, the weapon is still large blast so will kill a lot of infantry and it is melta so it will be a lot easier to take on high armour value tanks. Strength 8 is good on the battle cannon but against 14 armour you are glancing on 6's.

Yes he does NOT get shrouded for his mark. In fact I would never take the nurgle mark. Always take khorne. It's the least expensive and does the most.

I did, just overlooked the listing of it. It is Nurgle or nothing, in this army (please just overlook the Daemonettes...Nothing to see... ).

As for the knight, my understanding is that the ITC ruled that Chaos Knights get the same benefit as the corresponding daemon mark. In this case, the Nurgle Knight would get shrouding and defensive nades (Tzeentch rerolls 1's, etc.). Is this not the case (for an ITC-based games)? Even without it, I would still take Nurgle [at least, in this list] for IWND; the price seems a fair trade off in relation to the value of a hull point.

It has nothing to do with itc. Their actual rules PDF states what rules they gain from the marks.

I hear where you are coming from, and am staring down the PDF even now. But, in a ITC tournament, it sounds like chaos knights are interpreted as having the corresponding benefits of their respective mark (still pending the hard evidence via google fu). In this case, I would take Nurgle on my knight. Otherwise, I can't disagree about your thoughts on the Khorne knight.

Even if ict states knight has the regular daemon rewards your local tournament holder has final say and has the choice of which rewards the knight gets.

I don't see a mention of it in the ITC's online FAQ (last updated 9-11-2015), which does not bode well.
I hear you in regards to the local TO having the final say. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worse, right?
