Hi guys I'm relatively new to AOS and I'm interested to see what players who have created their own colour scheme have named their Stormhosts and I wanted to see if mine fits the background. Mine are the Malachite Crusaders and are an ancient gold and jade green colour scheme.....

I am considering making my own Stormhost as well. I really like your color scheme, I might borrow it. I have so much silver in my 40K army so far, that I am wanting to keep the main color gold (it'll give me practice for when I finally get around to painting my Sanguinary Guard). Emerald Green is the color I am leaning toward.

I have an idea . May go purple and gold.

That green on silver theme is killer!

I would have avoided the red hammer heads, however. A bit too "Christmas-y" especially with the snowy bases.

Ha!!! I suppose your right but we are in December. The hammers I just painted some blood for the blood god on it's the only GW paint I have used in that colour scheme. :-)

Actually not the Lion's. I was thinking more purple armor with gold trim and white on the shoulder pads. Sort of similar to the Celestial Vindicators only different.

Ah. Okay. I am interested to see what that will look like. I decided on Good with Emerald Green, basically the Hammers of Sigmar with Green instead of Blue.

I did mine gold and red to go for a roman-esqe theme with some subtle conversions.

I haven't named the stormhost but id probably go for something like the 'Legions of Sigmar' or something like that.

I like the roman style they have. Get some pics up if you can!!!

I'll be doing mine Daemonette Hide purple base and Slaneesh Gray shoulder pads with gold trim and red, white, and metal highlights.

I'm almost afraid to get started. These models are probably some of the most detailed models I've had to paint.

They are definitely detailed, squad leaders have so much extra on them to like moulded lion shoulders, wrist areas, knee pads and buckles. Just do your best.

My Stormhost is called the Gods of War. They mock Khorne by wearing his colors and using his monicker, as Sigmar knows the weaknesses of the Chaos god are pride and anger.
