I'm going to be base coating a TON of Nids' soon so I'm looking for recommendations of a nice, creamy and bright spray for their skin. Something as bright as Citadels Eldar Flesh or Kislev Flesh.

You mentioned you're doing a lot:

Use an airbrush (it's worth learning if you have a whole bunch of stuff to do), and mix up just a touch of german red-brown and desert tan vallejo PU primers. Should be spot on.

Use a touch more red initially and do zenithal work by adding tan and possibly a touch of white or light grey to the primer mix.

I've been wanting to get into airbrushes for a long while, but I don't really have the space in my apartment nor the funds to throw down for one at the moment :/

The only flesh colored spray i can think of is barbarian flesh from army painter.

its nowhere near as high as elf flesh.

You are better of spraying them white then washing them down with a flesh colored wash.

possibly start it with that corax off white that gw makes now.

I used to do that a bunch, but IMO it doesn't leave as strong/full as a color. I'm really looking for that rich undertone you can get with the flesh colors :/

Then you might need to use barbarian flesh then paint up from there. you will get the deep colors you want in the recesses i feel.

They're usually not tremendously cheap (probably similar price to GW sprays ) but some auto parts shops will mix a paint for you and put it in a spray can.

I think nids and an airbrush go hand in hand

Not a flesh colour, but with a flesh wash could work pretty well.

This is the Valajio 'desert tan' primer, applied by airbrush, a wash of sepia then a dry brush in a bone colour - goes on very quickly.

A fleshy colour wash or a thinner was will leave it a fair bit brighter, its basically a 'bone' colour.

Colours on Mr Nid as shown the desert tan primer, bronze green and beastial brown, then a sepia wash, bit of highlighting with the base colours and done. Picked to be quick, swap the green and brown for something brighter and they should pop nicely

Tamiya also has a flesh spray:

But I would recommend saving the money for an airbrush. If you are basecoating "a ton" of nids you might need more than one can and for basecoating a super cheap AB and compressor will do.

+lots on airbrush for the base primer and/or base colour, got one for about £80 with compressor, tank and two airbrushes, best investment I've made - paid for itself in rattle can primer alone very quickly.

Tamiya sprays are very good but not all that cheap. They are largely made for spraying model cars, so they give very smooth and consistent results and they also cure very quickly. They're only 100ml per can so you'll need a few cans to do a decent sized army, but at ~$10 a can they're not horrible. Not a bad choice if you don't want to buy an airbrush though.

I don't know if it counts as a creamy skintone, but I use Krylon brand spray to basecoat my Deathwing and SoB. The color I use is Ivory, and it's a dead ringer for the old Citadel Colour Bleached Bone. It's a paint and primer in one, and it's less than $4 at most places that sell spray paint (Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, etc.).

You could try the barbarian flesh primer by army painter, dip/wash, and single highlight.

When in doubt, kick the nearest grot.
Have a good night everyone.

Surprisingly, Corax White might fit the bill of what you're looking for.

Army Painter also do a Skeleton Bone spray, which could be viewed as a really pale, creamy flesh colour. Potentially then with a flesh/skin wash, this would bring a bit more of the fleshy colour pallet back in.

They do this particular colour as regular paint too, so you've got the option there for just getting that to start with and doing a test model.

This is what I use for my go-to skin primer and bone primer too. I find it's a good color to start with for lots of different uses, and a few light washes can darken it enough to look like flesh, or you can use a darker brown wash and white drybrush to make bones

I'll second the recommendation for Krylon ivory.
Great stuff, cheap, awesome coverage, good color. Bright enough to take washes well and/or tint with glazes for different effects.

Be still my beating heart Usually when I mention a Krylon product, someone else tries to justify why their $20 hobby brand is somehow superior. I don't think I've ever had anyone agree with me!
