Ever since FW came out with the new Chaos Knight Titan rules I have been wanting to convert one. A little while ago I managed to snag a Dreamforge Leviathan Mortis kit off Ebay that turned out to be mostly complete. A fistfull of bits, greenstuff, and plasticard later and I have a pretty decent looking Tzeentch aligned Knight.

The Dreamforge kit is a good 1"-1.5" shorter than a GW Knight, so he needed a little leg lengthening as well as a bit of a built up base to get him to the right height.

A Forgefiend ectoplasma cannon worked great to replace the barrel of the Dreamforge Laser-something cannon for a Chaosy gun. A horn from one of the new Skarbrand kit's heads also helped to bling out this side. The chest plate is from the AoS Chaos Warshrine kit, and the idea was shamelessly stolen from another fellow here on the internets.

The head is from a High Elf phoenix of some sort with a bit of added GS details, and the crown/halo/?? above the head is another part of the Chaos Warshrine kit. The scythe arm ended up looking a little stubby on the new taller Knight, so it was lengthened and got a few details added.

Finally a small Tzeentch symbol was added to the backside of the right shoulderpad to add a bit more detail to this side. I haven't decided yet whether I want to add the exhaust/torches to the back that came with the Dreamforge kit or not?

Comments & suggestions are welcome.

I managed to get this guy painted up pretty quickly (for me at least), now I just have to get a chance to actually use him in a game at some point. He's big, bronze, and blue standing over rivers of lava as any good daemon engine is wont to do.

I'm very pleased with how the base came out, as well as his gun, and really well most of him overall.

It's a bit tough to see in the photos, but the chest plate, halo, and a few other spots are a bit lighter bronze/gold color to look like they are polished more often than the rest.

I wasn't quite sure what to do with the scythe, so it is pretty basic for now and maybe I'll come back to it later.

Once I got some paint on it the Tzeentch symbol shows up a little wonky, but not too noticeable I don't think.

Bigger pics at the link in my sig, and C&C is welcome.

As someone who has been looking for conversion ideas for his Mortis since it arrived, great job! Most people go for the crusader
