'lo there

I was looking at making a fluffy Crimson Fists army but wasn't sure where to go after I got the scouts. I've been told by a few people that Sternguard Vets are the way to go, but I've already got 40 of them for my blood angels and am not too keen on doing any more.

Any advice you could give me on what would make a fluffy Crimson Fists army would be greatly appreciated, even if it's just telling me that I pretty much have to use Sternguard Vets.

Thanks, Thetallestgiraffe

Sorry bro, Sternguard and Kantor it is. Maybe dreadnoughts too. Try beakies for that RT look.

(I always looked at Kantor like mini-calgar but Kantor is really really good.)

The Crimson Fists have rebuilt to around 500 marines according to a couple of the wikis. The fluff is all over the place on the crimson fists as to what survived the Rynn's world disaster. It looks like a fair number of terminators survived, a number of dreadnoughts and a number of tanks. Not to mention the high number of tech marines who survived who could build weapons, armor and tanks. You could build your crimson fists how ever you want and it still could fit the fluff by saying that it had been deployed in new Rynn's city when the missile struck or that one of there factory ships survived or that the ad mech resupplied them. I have a couple contemptors and a typhon heavy tank that i uses with my crimson fists that I have given storys at to ware they were during Rynn's world disaster. I also use the 30 mark IV power armor from BOC by saying that they were gifted from the red scorpions who sent a battle company to help retake rynn's world.

You could probably make an army with almost anything and it would be pretty fluff. According to the Codex fluff they would probably have a higher proportion of units like Sternguard and Vanguard vets, Techmarines, and Apothecaries and Scouts. But really, you could use dang near anything and it would be fluffy, as Zasz said they've rebuilt some, so you could use a lot of things. And thanks to their status as a 2nd founding chapter you could include older armor marks and units (such as Sicarans) and it would be pretty fluffy still

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes

Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

I'm sure I read in the fluff somewhere that the dark angels gave them a load of stuff to help them rebuild?

Well I don't know, but they sure would have had some tactical squads left and since Kantor gives stubborn all around him self it could work like a elitish imperial guard gun line.
And they'd be as tough as hell to take objectives from.
In the lore it says that chapter master Kantor traveled around Rynn with a group of stern guard who will also fit into a gun line infantry spam army.
Maybe I am saying this because I love infantry
