Hey guys does anyone know which Badger Minitaire paint is similar to Vallejo Burnt Umber? I think Rhinox Hide (from GW) is comparable.

Afraid I don't know a badger equivalent, but to help people help you I can say Burnt Umber really does not resemble Rhinox Hide (despite what the Dakka paint conversion chart says).

Burnt Umber = Dark Toffee

Rhinox Hide = Dark Chocolate

I think it's closer to Dyrad Bark than Rhinox hide, but neither are really that close. Rhinox is a little richer, with more red.

If you like burnt umber though, why not just use it? It's a great paint.

Because I need to order but dont feel like spending the change. Its a project for myself not a client so at times i like to save money lol Though burnt umber is a staple really so I will just cough up the cash! Thanks guys.

P3 Umbral Umber is a nice paint...
you could also just mix a little black into a dark brown...
i used Battlefield Brown with a bit of Thamar Black, at about 3-1, before i got the Umbral Umber paint...

I bought it already. Theres no LGS thats that close to my house anymore, so I just bought it off ebay. I just didnt want to fork over the shipping price lol
