So there's a tournament at a local GW store I'm planning on going to. I have a few Lizardmen and Demons (used with my KDK) that I can use, since there's no restriction on mixing factions I plan on putting both together (heretical I know, but hey, I like them both a lot, lol). It won't be the most synergistic list, but at least I'll be able to play a game. I'd like to know how well this list may fare, based upon the tournament limits and what I may expect in a tournament.

The rules are as follows:

Rules:
You will have 10 warscrolls to build your list.
Each unit minimum entry size is 1 warscroll. You can add to a unit by adding another warscroll to add the minimum unit size to it (a unit of skeletons is 10 minimum. You can increase it to 20 by adding another warscroll etc.)
Characters are half a warscroll per 5 wounds. If more than 5, less than 10 counts as 2 warscrolls.
Monsters are 1 warscroll per 10 wounds.
Characters ON monsters count as the Monster wound rule.
Increments can be used, for example adding 5 more skeletons only uses a half warscroll. If your monster is 12 wounds, that uses a warscroll and a half.

Models must be fully built, and based. Painting is not required but it would make it easier to keep track of the swirling Melees etc.
models must be 100% WYSIWYG. No Proxying. If there is a model for something it must be used. If there isn't a model you must have it appropriately modeled.
No named characters.

There will be three rounds, three scenarios taken from the Age of Sigmar book. Each round will have a special twist thrown in!

You must have your rules and warscrolls printed out or have the AOS App ready to go. Also a printed list of what is in your army and warscrolls.

All rules apply, with the following exceptions to the main rules:
Summoning is allowed but only of warscrolls already in play in your army.
When a model or unit is engaged in combat it cannot shoot. You can shoot into a melee but must roll for every hit, 1-3 you hit your unit, 4-6 you hit the enemy.
Measuring in game will be from base to base.

Here's the list:

Scar-Veteran on a Carnosaur: Celestite War-Spear.
(1.5 warscrolls)

Saurus Cavalry: 4 Saurus Cavalry, 1 Alpha Knight, all with Celestite Lances, Stardrake Icon, Wardrum.
(1 warscroll)

Kroxigor: 3 Kroxigor, 2 Drakebite Mauls, 1 Moon Hammer.
(1 warscroll)

Bloodthirster of Insensate Rage: Great Axe of Khorne.
(1.5 warscrolls)

Khorne Demon Prince: Wings, Hellforged Sword.
(1 warscroll)

Khorne Demon Prince: Wings, Demonic Axe.
(1 warscroll)

Khorne Demon Prince: Hellforged Sword.
(1 warscroll)

x2 Bloodcrushers of Khorne: 2 Bloodcrushers, 1 Bloodhunter, Icon Bearer.
(2 warscrolls)

Total Warscrolls: 10

This is Monster heavy and has a lot of heavy hitters. I wanted to use all the Demons I had, which is only these guys, otherwise I wouldn't be spamming Demon Princes and wouldn't need to use my Lizardmen too fill in the gaps.

Everything can pretty much move 8+ inches and half can Fly, all with a decent save. I don't know what the meta is like at this store, so this may be balanced with what others bring or it may be over powered, but I guess it's whatever people decide to bring since there's not too much of a limit.

Any thoughts on this list? Weaknesses? I've only played 2 AoS games (based on the rulebook, not any fan or tourney comp) as not many play at my FLGS.

I cannot talk for the lizardmen part, but I'd be scared as hell to face the daemon part. Aren't you afraid to be overwhelmed thought ?

That's definitely a possibility. I have a good number of Saurus Warriors/Skinks about 30 or so each. Do you think it might be better to trade the Scar-Veteran, Cavalry and Kroxigores for Saurus Warriors and/or Skinks? I also have about 6 Chameleon Skinks.

EDIT: I could field a Lizardmen army, because I also have a Slaan, a few Skink Priests and Scar-Vets on foot, some Terradons (missing bases, 1 missing wings) and a Stegadon (missing howdah). But the only reason I don't want to field one is because I want to try out my Chaos Demons in AoS, as I've already played my Lizardmen before. I plan on expanding my Khorne Demons with Chariots, Flesh Hounds, Bloodletters and more Bloodcrushers but that might be awhile, lol

I would switch on the saurus cavalry for the temple guard probably. Do you have the guy that gives them an extra attack forgot his name?

Do the summoning rules mean you can summon more of what you've got on the table at no extra warscroll cost, or mean you can recycle any of the 10 warscrolls in your army once they are slain?

Depending on the answer might shape your army as both sides have powerful summoning! :-)

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)
