FIends will get squashed by Strength 8. Lots of things have str 8 shooting nowadays. Not to mention in CC, (powerfists, thunderhammers etc) Even getting them into CC they arent that great anymore. Do you play against tons of psychic units?
A guard tank line will make you cry. As well as a lot of other gun line armies.

I would recommend a herald on a steed over the Masque.
The Masque can't join any units and will be smoked very quickly. As much as I want to like her, she fails.
