If I understand this correctly, the Deathwatch serve as the chamber militant for the Ordos Xenos. But, can inquisitors not associated with the Ordos Xenos request the aid of a kill-team? I imagine requesting them to come hunt heretics wouldn't work out but would they be willing to aid, for example, an inquisitor from the Ordos Malleus deal with a group of chaos worshipping xenos?

Basically, does the Deathwatch care about an inquisitor's membership in the various ordos, or do they only care about what kind of mission the inquisitor wants them for?

As per the digital Inquisition codex, the inquisitors are not bound to a single Ordo, but rather flock to where they see the most threat.

So yes, every inquisitor could request support from the Deathwatch to counter an alien threat, even if he usually fights demons.
I'm not so sure if the Deathwatch could deny supporting an inquisitor against demons or heretics. Furthermore, I'm not sure if any inquisitor would request Deathwatch help against demons. It's just not their speciality nor are they equipped and trained for that task.

The Ordos of the Inquisition are informal groups of Inquisitors that share an interest in hunting certain kinds of foes, but it is quite possible (frequent, even) for a given Inquisitor to "drift" between one Ordo and another as the scope of his/her Inquests change.

After all, if you are hunting members of a psychic, sorcery-possessing Xenos society that is known to deal with certain Rogue Traders and human worlds on the borders of Imperial space, then you have all three major Ordos represented right there.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

In addition to what the previous posters said, Inquisitors would also be duty-bound to do something about a threat that's not their speciality. The fact that you hunt aliens or heretics doesn't mean you can just ignore a daemon infestation.

Depending on how urgent the threat is there might not be time to bring in specialized assets. So an Inquisitor requesting Deathwatch help against a non-Xeno target is probably in a great hurry to do something about it NOW.
