Seems quiet in here....too quiet.

Might be a good place to toss out ideas for others to discuss. I just got my system up and running but once things are in full swing I'm sure I'll be back here swinging things around. At the moment this is what is being worked on:

28mm skirmish game
10mm/15mm Wargame (scale unsure atm )

I consider this forum a challenge to actually sit down and work on a couple ideas. I'll be back once I've sorted out my napkin collection.

Totally awesome to see a sub-forum for this on Dakka! I have no projects on the go myself at the moment (apart from co-writing a Battlestar Galactica Fleet Combat game with Dakka user Wolf, but we're still a long way from having anything shareable at this stage), but I shall be keeping a close eye on what pops up here, and hopefully be able to chip in on a few projects and maybe even revisit one or two of my own at some point!

What kind of Game Design are we talking? Video, Board, what?

Either way, I have a sick update for Resident Evil Outbreak for Xbone or PS4 if I could get Capcom to listen/give me money.

I'll wager they were thinking of Miniature games when they made this forum, seeing as that's what all the help threads they duped here are about. You'd also probably get a bit more useful help given that Dakka is a Wargaming Forum.

Considering the amount of "This is my game, looking for feedback," threads on Dakka, this sounds like a pretty cool idea! While I'm admittedly not very good at game design, it will be interesting to see other people's ideas.

I've requested KOG light to be moved here.

Development has been slow, as it turns out that Alpha 1 was actually pretty terrible, and Alpha 2 showed there's a lot of reorganization needed... but I'll try to get it to Beta by end of year.

I'm targeting Beta 1 for end of January.

The forum is about tabletop games, miniature wargames first, then board games, RPGS and so on.

If there are cross-over elements from video games, they could be included here as well. There are some commonalities in ludology and philosophy of design.

Be aware, though, that we already have a video game forum, and we don't want to drag a lot of discussion from there into here, where much of it would be irrelevant.

Well Thanks KK. Ive been tinkering on a board game a la AaA / Diplomacy for a few years now. Just about a month ago I finally got an idea for one mechanic element. Definitely gonna do it. No Kickstarter. Limited run. I will buy one my mom will buy 2!
