So I've recently got back into the hobby last playing in 4th ed and have starting playing Necrons as didn't want to redo my previous armies after major changes to how they played.

I currently have a 1500 points list and currently have only played one game with it so far. I am looking to both expand and tune the list.

Running Decurion

HQ Overlord with: War scythe, Phase shifter and Veil of Darkness

10 Warriors
10 Warriors
10 Warriors

5 Immortals
5 Immortals

10 Tomb Blades Nebuloscope & Shield Vanes
10 Tomb Blades Nebuloscope & Shield Vanes
10 Tomb Blades Nebuloscope & Shield Vanes

10 Flayed Ones

-1500pts

My idea was to have Overlord and Flayed ones deep strike to disrupt enemy then teleport out if things get hairy or I need to grab an objective. Immortals park on objectives while Warriors march forward.
Tomblades will then jump around the table applying pressure and taking objectives as needed.

I'd love to hear peoples advice and input for both growing the army and tuning.

I've had the same idea about the deepstriking o/lord with the FO's, however I was thinking about a heavily optioned CCB. Haven't tried it out yet, would like to know if it works.

On another note, running that many tomb blades, maybe think about equipping some of them with particle blasters? While thats alot of Gauss, maybe having one unit laying down a ton of templates could work? Gives a bit more flexibility with them.

This list has a very simple concept and covers objective based games very well indeed. However, while this list has objectives covered, it doesn't do anything else particularly well. CC in this list is underwhelming and easily avoidable. There's no AP2 weapons (or AP3 for that matter) besides the warscythe, no anti-vehicle besides lucky Guass rolls of a 6, which puts you in a very bad spot vs marines or any vehicle based list.

I just feel this list is way too situational. It feels like it's been built to play against a specific person or in a specific campaign and consequently leaves it with a lot of areas that need improvement.

I'm not so sure how fun this army would be to play either, considering everything in it is just copied and pasted with almost no variation between units or possible play styles.

It's hard to give advice for this list because of the exact play-style you're going for. But I do think a Judicator Battalion or Canoptek Harvest would do well in this list. Not just because they're strong formations, but because they fit the very mobile theme you're going for - as well as adding the crucial ability to adapt that this list needs.
