Just got the plastic baneblade kit in and intended to magnetize for all 8 variants. Upon dry fitting the hull I've discovered that the baneblade turret top is slightly warped and will not sit flat. The curve on it is slight enough that I think I could glue it and weight it down but I really wanted to magnetize the thing. Tried heating the piece to reshape but didn't seem to have any luck. Can GW plastics be reshaped this way or is this piece simply too thick? Am I better off just ordering a new top from a bitz place?

He has good customer service, you may try calling them and see if they will replace the warped piece.

Yeah, call GW and they will replace that part for you, the best thing about them is their customer service.

I'm with you, I'm using magnets to make all the variants, and since the top is in all of them, you need one that will fit.
