A list I'm working on for a friendly game some time next year, probably around April, where I'll be going up against Tyranids in all likeliness. There's no need to worry about formations or the like, my opponent dislikes them as much as I do thankfully.

I'm mostly looking to use the stuff I got on hand, turning it into a compact mechanized army led by a punchy Rogue Trader backed by a Household Retinue and a pair of Knights, whom are the sole sources of ack-ack should my opponent bring along Flyrants or the like. The carapace-mounted weapons may seem a bit out of place, but word on the street has it that sooner or later Forge World is going to implement both the new patterns of Knight armour and the new weapon systems into the Questoris Familia list, plus my opponent wont mind.

I'm not sure you can take a paladin. The Lord of War rules say you can take 40k war machines if 'no 30k version exists' - well, that's true for the warden (at the moment) but a 30k version of the paladin definitely does exist, both in the Mechanicum Taghmata and Quaestoris army lists.

The list looks good.

I'm not convinced the (normal) dracosan will do you that much good. Lasrifle infantry - especially those without blast-chargers - don't have a pressing need to move up the field, and it's not like a dracosan carries much firepower for its points. You could have another infantry section or a proper tank for the same price and you'd probably get better mileage out of it.

Like I said, the Knights are not that big a problem, worst case scenario I'll just swap the Warden for another Paladin, remove the Icarus autocannons and hope that my opponent doesn't bring flyers, because my only other ack-ack option is a Thunderbolt, which while durable and shooty, is quite a sink in points at 200+ pts.

As for bringing more troops, I don't have those! I thought about getting another lasrifle section or two, but my go-to supplier hasn't updated in months now, so I'm a bit hesitant to get more troops from her at this point. Plus, it's $50 per ten models.
