Hello.

So after catching up on some lore I found that there are a few primarchs alot... Nicer and loving then others.

First lorgar: takes his father with him even if he is old.
dorn wears his dead grandfathers cape and used it as a blanket.
Vulkan loves people in general but is violent.
Guilliman has his mother hanging out in his house.
Angron never forgot his family or forgave the emperor for letting them die. It was weird hearding him mention his brother who swore he would die laughing.
Russ has his foster puppies with him well one.
am i missing anyone?

I need to go to work every day.

Sanguinius is very loving too. In fact, most of them love their legion as they would sons.

By some odd science, the Legionnaires are there sons, they are there genetic lineage and utterly loyal to there primarchs, so it makes sense the primarch would return the same loyalty.

and the oldest marines, like Russ or a few others where the ones they fought with before they even where Primarchs of legions, take the ones who served alongisde Russ as wolf king, id say they would have a strong bond with them in particular.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

The Primarchs are all just people. Just because they have the overall temperament of melodramatic teenagers doesn't mean they have no capacity for genuine care or love. A lot of the Primarchs had strong bonds of love between brothers (Fulgrim and Ferrus, Horus and Alpharius, etc) or love for their adoptive parents (Dorn, Lion'el, Khan) or other mortal companions (Angron, Russ, Mortarion). Not all of them loved their Legion, though; Mortarion didn't, Angron didn't, Curze didn't.

Actually I don't think Konrad Curze ever liked anything.

Curze loved thinking that he was right, and not totally bat-crap crazy.

Lion'el loved Caliban, brotherly-loved luthor, and had a weird love/hate relationship with the forests.

I know the least about Purtabo, Corvus, and Magnus though.

Not sure about that - he enlisted quite a few of them in his Legion and for that reason hated them. He hated them, himself and everyone else.

Most of the Primarchs are very damaged - Curze, like Angron is just more obvious and less caring about who knows he is

No when he left his planet it was .... Kinda peaceful. Then during the HH his legion became the people he killed on his home planet. So he went back and blew it up lol.

So, Sanguinus is just a 40K version of Oscar Wilde?

I would have totally thought that would be Fulgrim.

After reading 'Fulgrim' by the Black Library, I believe you're right!

I mean, Sanguinus has wings, looks fabulous, thirsts and all, but I'd say Fulgrim is more likely to have bon mots that ignore armor except for FNP and IWND.

Once again I feel obliged to point out that there is no evidence that Lionel Johnson was homosexual (or bisexual for that matter).

Magnus cared for his Legion to the point that he sold his soul when he could no longer bear their suffering and destruction.

Mortarion turned to Nurgle to save his Legion from the diseases which were destroying them whilst they were trapped in the Warp.

Look up Lionel Johnson and the poem he wrote 'The Dark Angel'

I got the joke. I have looked up Lionel Johnson and The Dark Angel. You seemed to going along with the widespread assumption that it proves that he was homosexual. There is no evidence that that is the case nor that the poem was actually about a sexual desire for men.

Sanguinius seems to have an absurd amount of compassion for lesser mortals. He wouldn't even let a few thousand of them die in Know no Fear

To quote a fictional character... "Let's make this fun!"

Even if he was, would it matter?

Besides, I read a fan fiction where he had a daughter named Lyra who went to high school.
So I'm pretty sure he's straight.
