A FLGS in a neighbouring city just released their first commerical, and it is pretty good! I am a bit impressed actually. Good store as well.




How are the FLGS's in your area doing their advertising?

The FLGS I use the most often does most of their advertising with social media. They've done at least one commercial, but it only aired online.

Awesome! My FLGS just released their own tv commercial. Otherwise they stick to social media.

I think that's kinda the way you'd need to do a commercial, have it be a bit self depreciating.

Or hire Kate Upton. That apparently works too...

Wow! I don't know how much they paid for that commercial, but it's pretty damn amazing. I was expecting something much more cringe-worthy.

A sense of humor about just how geeky and silly our hobby is is basically essential for this kind of thing, and this commercial did it great!

I like that ad for the game store. Very cool! My own FLGS only advertises on its own website and social media.

Brilliant! A prefect mix of excitement and self deprecation in a polished and accessible format.

In my area, LGS's pretty much rely on Facebook. Having said that came across this recently




Certainly does not have the polish, flair, or hook of the commercial of the one in the OP but still decently done in my opinion and good at reinforcing their pitch that the store is not just for unwashed geeks.
