April 1945 - Somewhere along the German border, a US platoon sent forward to secure a ruined hamlet between the frontlines, runs into a reinforced German patrol with the same objective...

Very atmospheric...and I think these might be my favourite of your figures so far.

Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

Very inspiring. Best photos / models / terrain I've seen all year. Thank you for sharing.

Currently most played: Silent Death, Mars Code Aurora, Battletech, Warcrow and Infinity.

I see a card there so I'm guessing this is your platoon rules in development. Looking forward to seeing them. I tried chain of command for my platoon size fix for the first time a week ago. Won't be doing that again. Not for me.

Big P, you take some lovely photographs and clearly have the eye of a diorama maker . To finish it all off, take your camera outside and take a few countryside shots and get them developed into panoramic photos(2 x 5 feet for example). Now you have a stunning backdrop. It's the only thing missing from your quality photos and would finish them off a treat

I would love to know where you got the source images to print out for your buildings! This would give me reason to play more WWII. HO train buildings rarely fit, aesthetically, and resin ones are usually fairly expensive. Plus, I have so much more stuff going on that I don't have time to scratch-build enough buildings for an effective city / town battleground. Some nice-looking printed facades that I could mount on foamcore would be fantastic!

This is absolutely fantastic! Historicals offer such great potential for recreating this sort of 'atmosphere.' Great terrain, and the models are wonderful.

Nicely done!

Actively searching for Hobbyists and Wargamers in the N. Dallas area!

Unfortunately we didn't get too deep into it before we called the game off so I'm afraid I'm still not familiar enough with it to offer any serious criticism. It was just too involved for my preference. Although I enjoy reading history and appreciate accuracy and authenticity, most of the time I just want to get my pretty toys on the table and drink beer with my buddies. I'm sure I would have gotten further had someone familiar with the rules been their to help out, but after digging through a rather large rule set time and again we just got frustrated enough to revert to our usual games.
