So the main reason I posted is obviously to say Merry Christmas to you all! You're a great community and I massively enjoy browsing all the forums.

Now to make this Model related - what kind of killy things have been ticked off your Christmas list? Do you have any plans for special games etc with your buddies?

Tau Commander. Finally despite my Tau army nearing completion it was just never a high priority since I had this perfect star wars mini as a proxy.

We'll have a multi 30k battle next Wednesday. I'll field my WE army led by Angron.

Pretty much a full 30k list which means a Sicaran and Contemptor are being added into my Ultramarines. It'll be good to get them back up to snuff again. Only thing I still have to do for that list is replace a modern Rhino with a Deimos.

But actually, I focused on Infinity more. Took the holidays as a chance to take that plunge and really get going in that game too.

I find it's so difficult asking for Warhammer stuff over the holidays. If it's not a bigger box, I usually don't say I even want it. Easier to ask for a box with a big name, Shields of Baal, Stormclaw, Battle of Calth, than to ask for Lootas or 'The new Devastator box that comes with Grav. It has a picture of such and such on the front'. But gifted credit cards do wonders for my hobby.

40k goal, finish my Tau (finally) and get them ready for play. Wanting to do Farsight Enclaves, battlesuit heavy, but ultimately I want to have a little of everything to do whatever, whenever.

Oh my, you've got a whole 30k list for Christmas?

And yeah I have the same problem really, but luckily my dad was kind enough to get me a Shadow Force Solaq box which is pretty awesome, the models are great! I have such a love of veterans.

I'm wanting to do the same thing! Progress is extremely slow I have to admit, but I'm aiming to have at least 10 new battlesuits (including the new commander model) completed by the end of Jan (when uni starts again) magnetised with all the different options I need. Should be a fun task!

I'm suffering through a nearly modelling and gaming free Christmas :( Dakka is as close as I'm going to get, I think. Too much family stuff going on, this year.

I'm also getting no wargaming presents, as my wife and I have asked for donations to be made to the food bank instead of presents this year. But I did buy myself a couple of little models at the hobby shop during boxing day, including the Dark Angels Chaplain that I missed buying during the launch window (mostly because I'm not going to be doing Dark Angels any time soon) I actually can't wait to paint him. Just have to find time!

I certainly will! It'll probably not be done before the end of the year, though.
