With this set up every melta is master crafted by Vulkan himself allowing for very accurate shots. The transports allow for great mobility and protection and LOSing. Two Dreads push up with the armored column to help protect it and crush everything in their path. The deepstriking dual flamer dread serves his purpose to make the enemy wary of their positioning + roast just about anything he wants with re-rolling to wound Strrenght 5 AP4 flamers. Even if he does go down he still will soak some firepower and tie up enemies or punish them for not focusing him down.
The Sternguard I am in love with as their formation rule + master crafted melta allow them very accurate fire and give them the tools to take down any threat be it swarms, TEQs, MEQs and even monstrous creatures.
One weakness I notice in my army is the lack of anti air, but my local meta is pretty light on that. Worst I have seen is a flying demon prince but even he was unable to do much because as soon as he landed he was obliterated by 2+ poison shots from the Sternguard.
The Predator I really like as it provides very solid long range firepower and I place him way in the back so the enemy has to shoot him down from range or get close enough to him where his distance from the rest of my forces (which I push them up to close-medium range for maximum firepower (Get it? Firepower? Salamanders? HAHAHAHA) ) will leave the unit that killed hi ma bit out of position.
I master craft every characters CQC weapon just cuz (as their meltas are already master crafted)except the Librarian whom I master craft his power sword. I feel that his ID force sword + re-roll to hit and wound make him a rather able. I will roll on the Pyromancy table to fit the theme of the list as well.
