If I take a raven guard shadowstrike kill team from kau'yon, can I do their special deep strike option with characters attached?

I stopped following the skyhammer version of this thread. I doubt a consensus was reached.

Fwiw, as far as I'm concerned, a unit of vets with a character attached is still a unit of vets. So i would allow it

Pretty much this, so long as the Characters can Deep Strike, of course.

Also, unless that Team has specific restrictions against it, of course.

Following raw, the unit name doesn't alter, and it is the unit that is given permission.

Some argue against it, but not from a rules basis.
