Been out the hobby since 2nd Edition, I think the last stuff I bought was the Gorka Morka box set so 1997 or so? I remember going to the big UK Games day in birmingham and getting hyped up as a teen on that stuff. Great times indeed. I used to play 40k Imperial Guard (Astra Whatnow?!) and had a ratskin Necromunda gang. I was just starting to build a Dark Angels army up and just kinda stopped one day.

Anyway I was talking with a few friends over a few beers a few months ago and suddenly the conversation went over to Games Workshop. I was intrigued to see what was happening nowadays, having not heard or seen anything to do with it for however many years. Not played since 2nd edition 40k. I think I literally chucked it all in at the start of 3rd edition.

So there I was, I'm now 30, thinking ah what the hell, I'll go down to my local store, where I spent ALOT of time as a kid and see what's going. Then I left with a lighter wallet and a grin.

Been building up a little Cadian Force to play a game. I think having not painted or assembled any minis in over a decade they came out pretty nice. Just got to do 2 chimeras and a couple of heavy weapon teams and one more squad and I think I'll have enough to go have a little game and re-live my youth! Haha.

I make no apologies for my lack of dusting.
