I saw this today.

The post at the top of the picture (should I be angry?) is 7:47:36AM, but the post in the Introductions forum (So old, new to Dakka) is 7:47:56AM.

Anyone else having this problem? Could just be my computer acting up on me.

I run Windows 10 and use Microsoft Edge, if it helps any.

The thing is, the post at the bottom of the picture should also be at the top of the picture since it happened 20 seconds after the post at the top of the picture.

Dakka isn't like Reddit. All forums are in set locations. If I update my P&M blog, it won't be higher up than the argument about aurbrushing, it stays in the P&M forum bracket. I don't understand why it would move.

The Recent Threads section doesn't update in real time. So yes, the post showing there quite often won't be the most recent post.

It's just meant to help people find threads that have had recent activity, not be an exhaustive ranking system.

Also the introductions forum and some other forums are not put into the recent threads list as people tend to post responses to 5+ threads at a time in there which would flood out the other recent threads.
