Ok so here is an elder list I have been toying with. Its not meant to be bad but is not ultra competitive obviously. I have a pretty solid opponent who plays competitive type tau dar so I want to do well but no biggy if I don't. What do you think? The idea is to scout D weapons in range and go to town.

Replacing Succubus with Archon to be able to Webeay Portal your Wraithguard is much better,

Overall a decent and used idea. People around me usually take Inquisitors with skulls to disrupt this strategy and for dirt-cheap.

I figured that it would still be a solid list if they have the inquisitor. Almost everything moves 12" but I do see and agree with your point.

The issue is not having the grots on the board means I cant have any powers turn 1. And if they don't arrive then I have like 500 points off the board. I was hoping to scout them forward and then cast invis or shrouding on them to make them super hard to kill.

I love the webway so might be helpful.

The other issue is without the succubus the unit has no ap2 and then gets stuck fighting somestuff it cant really hurt.

That 1 hero with AP 2 will make no difference really. She is weak in Strength department and doesn't really have that much of attacks.

What's the problem with Grotesques? Can't really see a thing interfering With your plan to deploy Eldrad and cover them with psypowers.

Nothing is wrong with grots other than their lack of ap2. I can see your points about the succubus. s4 ap2 isn't that good. I will reconsider. thanks
