Can you use master of machines more than once since the Dominus can fire two weapon in each phase? There's nothing in he rules that specifes that it can only be done a single time. Thansk!

No, as per the first sentence of 'Master of Machines' (... instead of firing one of his weapons...)

'It is a source of constant consternation that my opponents
cannot correlate their innate inferiority with their inevitable
defeat. It would seem that stupidity is as eternal as war.'

but that only states the the using the ability replaces the use of one of the weapons. It doesnt specifiy how many times you can do that. The use of "one" also has to do with the fact that he has two weapons he can fire. Usually, rules like this would say once during each shooting phase if it was going to be restricted in that way. this rule specifically avoids that ind of language.

If you've used it more than once instead of firing both of his weapons, have you used it instead of firing one of his weapons?

But if it said instead of firing both of its weapons the assumption would be that it gives up both shooting attacks for the one action. The term one simply refers to the number of weapons which forego shooting to perform the ability. In answer to the second response, yes, you've used it instead of fire one of his weapons two times.

You're looking for the word 'either', which isn't there... either. And the point still stands that in doing so twice you've done so instead of firing both or two of his weapons.

But it seems as though you've made up your mind and were hoping for someone to confirm your idea, rather than looking for an answer to a genuine question...

I was more looking for a discussion. Im just supplying an alternate view which Im very happy for you to respond to. Its not that you're "wrong" it's just that I want to discuss it.

Your alternative view still results in having used Master of Machines instead of firing two or both of his weapons, rather than one.

The wording would need to be "either or both" to support your view without issue.

The word either wouldn't work... Either.

"One and/or both" would work. So would "for each". Either would mean completely negating shooting.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

Yeah, I think I had 'each' in mind when I typed that.
