I'm new to this so bare with me haha!
I'm a fan of Vermintide and Its' Left 4 dead format.
I wanted to somehow get some rules together to make it into a table top game.
Here are some rules I have typed up if anyone is interested.
This is a demo build using AGE OF SIGMAR Rules and statlines unless stated otherwise.
To start a game choose your Hero and assign them to a class. Classess can be found in the HERO RULES supplement.
Max of 4 Heroes per game.
Once the team is built set the board up with scenery as you want or roll d6 per quarter of the board and set up scenery accordingly.
To set up the Skaven horde set up 2d6 + 6 clanrats/giant rats/rats per quarter of the board. Then every hero phase for the Skaven roll a d6 for rat reinforcements.
1-2 D6 rats arrive from a random table edge
3-4 2d6 rats arrive from a random table edge
5. 3d6 rats arrive from a random table edge
6. 4d6 rats arrive from a random table edge
Determine the random special model per board before set up. Roll a ď6.
1-2 Horde. 4d6 extra clanrats when setting up.
3 Assassin
4 Catcher
5 Scenticide bomber
6 Rat ogre
These Special models are additional to the standard deployment.
The Objective is to exit the opposite side of the board to deployment through the gates.
Game length is 5 boards long.
On the 3rd board roll for a random side mission.
1- key hunt. Find the key for the exit. 6 objectives are placed and the key is found on a roll of 6 unless the last remaining uncovered objective.
2- Assassinate. Take out the special character. Roll on special model table re rolling 1-2.
3- Take and hold. Hold the objective for 2 turns
4- Special attack! Escape the board with 3 specials models active. Roll 3 times on the special table.
5- Plant the bomb. Escort the bomb carrier to the gate and defend it for a turn.
6- Pest control. Detroy the 3 nests scattered on the board
Upon completion of a side mission. Roll 5d6 and match your result to the table.
2 of a kind - d6 x2
3 of a kind - d6 x5
4 of a kind - d6 x10
5 of a kind - d6 x50
Full House - d6 x 25
You can spend 20 rp to re roll any dice you want. It 50rp to change the result on a single dice.
When the heroes exit the board they must consult the injury table.
Injury table - Only applicable to Heroes that have gone down or have been slain.
Roll a d6
1. Gravely wounded
Movement halved. Start on 1 wound. -1 to hit & wound rolls. Basically screwed.....
2-3 Minor wounds. -1 wound can only run d3
4-5 Healthy - Everything is gret m8
6. Better than ever! - extra d3 when running
