Hi, I didn't find this addressed when I searched; seeing as the Flesh Tearers Detachment only needs one Troops, I thought making a whole Dreadnought Detachment with that Cassor the Damned as the Troops choice and 2 HQ Librarian Dreads would be really fun (if rules-legal that is).

It's not a formation, it's a detachment.

The 1 Hq, 1 Troop Flesh Tearers detachment that has six fast attack slots.

Where are the rules for Cassor the Damned ? (aka, which book/supplement)

His datasheet came in the Shield of Baal Deathstorm box.

From memory he's just a Death Company Dreadnought with a specific loadout, and can be taken as a Troops choice.

Yup, no problem.
The detachment restrictions only say "BA faction only", and Deathstorm clearly show Cassor to be a troop choise for the BA faction.
Hope you have fun with the list; however, the bonus you get from this detachment (rage if you roll more than 10" charge distance) wont make much difference from going unbound, right?

I was thinking for tournaments at least I could keep it Battle Forged using the Detachment. And if the games are big enough points I can include the Brethren of the Fell-Handed for extra Dread smash-dropping, which is my new term for this list; the phrase is coined!

He's also a Character and is Unique.
