So I am looking to redo my sentry -star for the new book.I have been using Zandrekh to give the pylons relentless but he is only able to do that after turn one so there is no possibity of turn one alpha striking with the pylons.Toholk is another option for SnP but he hasnt been updated and still has outdated wargear and none of the new cryptek abilties. As far as im aware those are the only ways to get relentless pylons. The second important aspect is the veil which has some great options, either on obyron, one of the lords or a cryptek with chrono. What are some of your ideas for a good Sentry-star setup?

Anrakyr the Traveler has the Warlord Trait you are looking for.

Let me know how the pylons do in 7th ed. I'm highly curious because of the amount of points they cost.

I've been using them for a while now and took them to LVO last year. They are great and well worth their points. You are able to win some games in one shot if you can get a good enough line.

So what's the optimum Sentry-Star build, now?

Would this be the cheapest route?:
3x S.Pylon (Deathray)
+ Anrakyr
+ Obyron

Or would you want to take a Royal Court? (but if so, how would you organize it? Anrakyr for Overlord requirement, Lord w/ 2+ & 4++, and Cryptek w/ Veil?)

I don't know, this seems like an awful lot of points invested. How's the payout?

some pretty soild builds ive been experimenting with look something like

Destroyer Lord (Veil of Darkness, Warscythe)
Anrakyr the Traveler
Sentry Pylon x3 (Focused Death Ray)

795/1850

Destroyer Lord (Veil of Darkness, Warscythe)
Sentry Pylon x3 (Focused Death Ray)

Necron Royal Court Formation
Anrakyr the Traveler
Cryptek (Chronometron, Solar Staff)
Varguard Obyron

1020/1850

You could swap the dlord for a chronotek for a more defensive build losing the PE for a 5++ and solarpulse
