All in the title with this one. With my second Betreyal at Calth box I now have plenty of infantry, and I have 10 of them unassembled with a whole bunch of the special weapons and sergeant weapons, so I was wondering what would be best:

Either a Tactical Support Squad with Plasma Guns.
Or a Veteran Tactical Squad with whatever weapons - make a suggestion if you know good load outs.
Or a Seeker Squad with six combi-weapons - again, make a suggestion if you know a good load out.

I play a fast moving Emperor's Children army and so I'm more considering the Veterans with Outflank or the Seekers. Suggestions are always appreciated.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

All 3 are good choices.

The support squad will put out alot of fire power but recieve alot as Well, plus an apothecary is needed really to help them stop melting and weather the damage they will take

Vets is a good idea, Melta for outflank so you can suprise some enemy armour

Seekers are great, combi plasma for me so they can destroy the unit You mark for death

For Veteran squads, I'm a big fan of the Suspensor Web ML. S8 AP3 on the run is pretty cool. I have two units, one has 2 MLs, one has 1 ML and a Plasma Gun, ymmv.

With Seeker Squads, I haven't built one yet, and I wonder if its a good idea to uprade them to combi. I can certainlty see the upside, but its an expensive route, and in a way you're already paying for special weapons via special issue ammo. In any case, if I did go combi, I'd include at least one combi-flamer for protection, mostly combi-plasma for the rest, I'd think.

I personally take support squads and heavy support squads a lot more often than veterans and seekers. They all are expensive, but I find the support squads have enough concentrated firepower to successfully do the job I need them to for the points.
