I'm interested to hear what everyone else thinks about Thostos Bladestorm. I'm currently reading quest for ghal maraz expansion book and from what I have read about Thostos in it he seems a bit messed up to me.... I could see him turning to chaos or something maybe Khorne possibly Tzeentch as that spell could have messed him up a bit. What do you guys think?

It's not that I think there will never be any 'chaos'/'turned' Stormcast, it's just that I think they'll be extremely rare.
To be recruited to the Stormcast requires dying in battle against chaos, piety & Sigmar worship preferable.
They are imbued with part of Sigmar's power, and from evidenced in the fluff they appear to have an innate ability to sense taint in others.
When they die, their souls return to Sigmar to be reforged.
That's quite a complicated set of failsafes to get around!

So we'll either see mobs of deformed Stormcast - like the one corrupted in QfGM - who are trapped as beasts until death, possibly longer, or we'll see a Tzeentchian plot of manipulation resulting in a named Stormcast going ultrabad.

Not always. They don't return if they are slain by specific daemon weapon.

Yes, but they're still dead in that scenario.
A Stormcast killed by anything is only 'immortal' if Sigmar puts him back together or is rezzed on the spot by a Relictor.
A Chaos champion who gets reset when he dies isn't that useful (Skarr Bloodwrath excepted) , which is why I'm leaning toward a named character - Thostos would fit the bill here, especially as the Celestial Vindicators are the pre-heresy World Eaters of the AoS fluff.
