so i've been into hobby for about 1.5 year - i've got decent CSM khorne assault army - I love thoe models and everything but as you know CSM are not exactly super competitive atm. I usually play againts two of my friends and recently started going to some friendly tournaments. My friends play DA and Tau and especialy the Tau frined is quite competitive. Problem is that if we both try hard i have absolutelly no way of beating him. So basically he has to tone down his army just so i have chance of beating him - and even then its not fun game to play - as it is just about if i can get to close combat or not.

So all in all i decided to start some more competitive army that also has some fun options if i didnt want to try hard and keep chaos for friendly tournaments & friendly games - and i got my hand on decent deal on necron army so here we are

Right now i have battle force + few more additions so:

20x warrior
1x Ghost Ark
10x Immortals
1x Spider
3x Tomb Blades
3x Wraights
5x Scarabs
2x HQs (Cryptek and Imotekh - Not that much bothered by HQs as i can pretty much proxy anything with these for now)

Im in middle of painting all this - im definetely looking for Night Scythe as next buy but then what would you suggest? Especialy what would be usefull againt the Tau army? Im not looking for auto win button, so i dont want to spam just wraights or sumthing like that?

Also how would you play againts Tau army or in general? I already tested this setup in 1000pts games and i think its going to be mostly about board control and out lasting the opponent then wiping him out. In those games i struggled with 2+ armor - so riptides & Broadsides as i pretty much dont have any AP and wrights are dead by end of turn 1.
