Hey all,

I've been around the wargaming hobby for years but have primarily stuck to the "hobby" side of things. I'm drawn to the hobby by photos of beautifully painted miniatures fighting on a table full of awesome terrain. That's what I'm searching for.

As a kid, after experiencing the awesomeness of wargaming at a local hobby shop, I began rolling dice to determine the fates of my own 'green army men' during battles at home. I've played with unpainted army men as a child, and, while it was great fun, I'm now looking to take the "next step" in wargaming. Hopefully I can find some local players with a similar mindset, or perhaps I'll have to take the approach of teaching people how to achieve a simple, table-top standard.

Anyways, enough of that -- time to start browsing!

Actively searching for Hobbyists and Wargamers in the N. Dallas area!

Hi. Welcome to Dakka

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum
