Hi guys,

My name's John and I'm pretty new to this whole wargaming thing. Well, that's kind of a lie, let me explain!

I used to play Warhammer: 40,000 way back in 4th edition and I collected the formidable 'Guard'. I had a small, and pretty dismal, collection and I lost virtually every game I played. I stopped playing at the beginning of 5th and haven't picked up plastic or brush since.

In January, the Pay Day Fairy will bring me some goodies from GW and then she will bring me hobby goodness in February (I have things planned out lol) So hopefully I'll be hobbying from March on wards

My main aim right now is to get the basics oof what I want, like the battle demi company and a command squad then hobby tools and paints. Then to do a semi decent paint job just to get them table ready. After that it will be mainly about honing y painting skill and my command abilities (i fear my men will only be participating in combat readiness drills). Oh and I need to get something to trasport them with lol

I live in Bedford UK and it's just dismal here but hopefully it has a decent gaming club, I can't remember what it's called but I still have friends online that can help with that.

I am pretty open about everything, I think this is my biggest weakness, and I also have bi-polar so I'm up and down a lot.

BB

Hi. Welcome to Dakka, and to the Marines. You chose a good army

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum
