Me (Deldar/Eldar) and my friend are playing doubles this weekend against Tau/Fleshtearers combo

We play each 1500 points.

So I was thinking following lis as a general idea:

Autarch (or Farseer) on a jetbike
Wraithguard with D-Scythe
Windraders with Scatlasers (4-6 depending on other options)
Avengers
So here I have option of Vyper, Warwalker and Warp Spiders
Wraithknight

Lhamean
2x5Kabalite Warriors with Venom (splinter racks and splinter cannon)
If Autarch then 3xGrotesques and Raider
Raider (for Wraithguard)
Razorwing Jetfighter

Tau plays Riptide and bunch of Fire warriors, 1xBroadside and - lot of Kroot and Crisis suits, Piranha, Hammerhead and stealth
Fleshtearers mostly drop pod list.

We play mostly Kill points.

Would my list do well in this enviroment?
Any advice on what should CSM take?

I suggest taking an archon with a webway portal so that you can threaten the tau backfield with some precision deepstriking with D flamers and, give him the 2+ invun. For your DE detachment I'd just take it as an allies and you can drop a squad of kabalites. I'd also take warp spiders over the other two options.

Heldrakes obviously for your csm player, that'll help against both of your opponents but I'll need to know more about his models before I can really comment about his army.

So basically he has bunch of chosen from gw although our group is relaxed regarding wysiwyg.

Tacicals, 2 predators, heldrake, landraider, 3xrhinos, obliterators, havocs, daemon prince, defiler

Sadly no bikers

I avoided Archon because of hq tax but I guess with Autarch we could get perfect delivery

Yea the archon and the autarch together you may find it to be worth it, especially with the wraith guard.

I absolutely despise tau and their ability to shoot you before you get into charge and then rip you appart in close combat. My one piece of advice to you is tell your friend to give all of his vehicles dirge casters: enemy units within 6" cannot fire overwatch. It is unbelievable how many units I have lost to tau in overwatch.

I'm currently struggling against tau right now as well hahaha. The best I've been able to do against them is MSU khorne hounds and getting a tie.

Dirge casters are also golden against tau if you can get them in range. Tau overwatch just makes me cry.

Well glad to report that we won.

Tau fell to the fire from WK and Autarch with Banshee mask worked like a charm against Tau overwatch.
