Let me say straight off, dear god I love the Warhammer community. From the casual beginner gamer to the hardcore cheese monger Deathwing guy. From the lowly Forum baby to the most notorious Dakkanauts. From a fledgling fanfic writer all the way to black library calibre writers.... It’s you guys who make this hobby so special to me and many others. I had to stop hobbying a while back due to lack of money, education and general slobbyness. But coming back to this. The models, the games and you... It felt like coming home, back into the arms of a loving family.

We get to share so much of what we love thanks to sites like this. From custom models to gaming tips to just cheering people up.

I don't post too much on here (or anywhere to be honest) and I might not be to good at posting either. But I still trawl though the threads to see the amazing pieces of art loving created by the community, then I get to see the equally amazing responses to these. People asking for tips (or giving it), people expressing their love for a beautiful model or just someone wishing someone to get well soon.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, and thx. its good to hear a positive view on the community, i barely have any players localy, so about the only interaction i have with 40k is this forum...and it can be disheartening.
