Greetings! I've never posted on here before, but I thought I could use some help as I have recently started a Chaos Space Marine army after my friend quit 40k and gave me the complete, untouched Dark Vengeance set and a Maulerfiend/Forgefiend that needed some serious tinkering. I decided to go for a primarily Nurgle theme to the army, mostly because I like the models and Nurgle's just a chill guy.
To my name I currently have the Dark Vengance set, a Maulerfiend (Don't be mad it was all I could make from the wreck I was given), 1 squad of Plague Marines and Typhus.
Just one more thing before the list; I'm going to be playing most of my games against either my younger brother who also collects chaos with a Khorne theme, and my friend who is just starting 40k with a Death Korps of Krieg Siege Regiment.

First off what is "chlamydiax the maulerfiend"? Is that just the name you have given your deformed maulerfiend?

If I were you I would lose the hellbrute and find enough points for another maulerfiend: hellbrutes are awful no matter what anyone says and maulerfiends work best in pairs.

Yeah, I like to name my big things, and because it's Nurgle, I'm naming them after diseases, such as Chlamidia. Because I'm doing Combined Arms, I'd need to get rid of an Obliterator to make room, but it actually ends up saving me points.

I agree about dropping the Helbrute, he won't do much for you. For similar points you can get another bike squad, I'd consider dumping the power sword on your bike champ, he's riding up front he'll be the first to die.

You could also add a few bikes to the unit too, I think 5-man is a good number for them. If you do I'd swap his sword for a power maul, it's more useful even though only AP4. Against 3+ saves it's only marginally worse since you'll be S6, also gives you more damage against vehicles.

Another thought is to find points for a 10 man zombie squad to camp the backfield and hold objectives.

i say drop the havok launcher (they were good) drop the helbrute either beef up your biker squad, get a second maulerfiend by combining the two oblits or by dropping one, try to find points for a combi melta and melta bombs for all the champs or combi plas

Find the points for VOTLW on the oblits. Trust me on this one.

Who are you going to run Typhus with? As others have said helbrute is kinda meh.
